Does the establishment have a “barrier-free” design?
Our establishment is not completely barrier-free. However, the Keyaki room is easily accessible for wheelchair users. The main hot spring is also accessible from Keyaki with a wheelchair. An electric cart is available to access the dining hall. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Is it possible to request for a specific room?

Are the baths in the room a natural hot spring?
Natural hot spring is only available in the public hot spring.
The Keyaki rooms have an indoor germanium bath and an open-air hinoki (cypress) bath. The Yamabuki and Miyakowasure rooms have a germanium bath.
How hot is the water in the baths?
The free-flowing hot spring (public hot spring) is set at 38.5℃, the indoor bath is 42℃, and the open-air bath is 42.5℃.
Is there an open-air bath in the main public hot spring?
Yes. Both indoor and open-air baths are available.
Can I bathe before and after check-in?
Yes. Rental towels are available at the front desk for no additional charge.
Which rooms are nearest to the Koubouno-yu / Satono-yu hot spring?
The Keyaki room is the closest.
I have allergies. Or, I can’t eat certain foods.
We will do our best to accommodate your condition and preferences by providing a replacement dish. Please let us know when you place your reservation.
Are meals served in the room?
No. Meals are served at the dining hall.
Can we order lunch on arrival?
Lunch is only available by reservation. Please make your reservation by 2pm on the day prior to your visit. Lunch is from 11:30 ~13:30 (last order)
Can we rent the party room?
Yes. The party room is available depending on the number of guests. Please contact us for details.
Do you have a kid’s menu?
Yes. We can provide a kid’s meal for dinner. It includes Salisbury steak, fried dish, salad, soup, sashimi, rice, and dessert.
What time is dinner served?
Dinner is served between 17:30 ~ 18:30. We accept requests for a specific time on a first come first served basis.
Can we request cakes for special occasions?
Yes. Whole cakes (12cm) are available for 3000 yen (plus tax).
Bouquets are also available from 4000 yen.

Is there space to park?
Parking is available at no charge.
What is there to see and is there a place to relax besides the bath and dining hall?
There are tables and chairs at the main terrace, 2nd floor of the Nagaya gate, and history exhibition. There is also a café in the lobby where you can enjoy coffee and confectionary.
Explore out history exhibition to discover the traditional Japanese way of life. Please feel free to relax after checkout until 2pm.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms.
Services for infants and children
Diaper storage is available in guest rooms. Baby beds and kid’s chairs are also available in the dining hall. Please let us know upon reserving your room.
Is there a café / lounge?
Yes. There is a café / lounge in the lobby and central garden.Business hours: 9:00 ~ 20:00 (last order 19:30)
Can I bring my own beverage?
Please refrain from bringing your own beverage to guest rooms and dining halls.

Yes. There is a vending machine near Hotakano-yu.
Front desk
The front desk is open from 7:00 ~ 21:00. Night shift staff will be available for hours between 21:00 and 7:00.
Why does it smell like smoke?
In maintaining the Kayabuki roofing and enjoying the Irori fireplace, we have to start a fire in the fireplace and smoke the straw on the roof. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Can we bring our own food and beverage?
Please refrain from bringing your own food and beverage. However, baby food and beverages are allowed.
I can hear the frogs croaking.
You can hear frogs croak in the summer since there is a rice field in front of Yutorian. Enjoy staying in a remote area and the season itself with all 5 senses.
